Success lessons from Henry Ford

1. Serve others.
“A business absolutely devoted to service will have little concern about profit. It will be indecently big.”
The secret of success is to serve others. All successful people serve, the greater the success, the greater the service. Wealth is created from services, and comes only through services. Ford said: “Wealth, like happiness, cannot be achieved by direct search. It comes as a byproduct of providing useful services. How do you serve?

2. Trick.
“There is no man who cannot achieve more than he thinks he can.”
You are completely unaware of your possibilities, so you never focus your efforts on one task. You spend an hour of your day on one thing, three hours on another thing, but you never focus on one task. When you focus your life, all the impossible becomes possible. Focus, you can do more than you think you can.

3. Be productive.
“From my observations, I’ve noticed that most people determine the time that others waste.”
Each of us has 24 hours a day, but only a few, using this time, achieve success, the rest fail. Why is this happening? The thing is that some people effectively control their time, while others are under control of their time. Some people dictate their day, while others allow their time to dictate the direction of their movement. If you fail, you fail because you are misusing your time. If you succeed, you succeed through effective time management. Are you a master of your time?

4. Solve problems.
“Most people spend a lot of time and energy walking around problems and not trying to solve them.”
Rest assured, you will receive a reward for solving other people’s problems. But can you solve any problem? If you solve big problems, you get a big reward, if you solve small problems, you get a small reward. If you solve the problems of a small number of people, the reward will be small, if you solve the problems of a huge number of people, you can become rich. Don’t waste time walking around problems, solve them.

5. There is nothing particularly difficult.
“Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it’s not a small job.”
Henry Ford said, “there are No big problems, there are only a lot of little problems.” When you think about it, you can really see that in reality, there is nothing “complicated”. You climb the mountain step by step, the individual steps are not as heavy as the entire climb. Consistent solution of big problems, step by step, will lead to success. Eat a whale one bite at one time and one day it will be eaten.

6. Keep your eye on the prize.
“Obstacles are the terrible things you see when you look away from the goal.”
Never take your eyes off your target. The goal – what motivates you, what makes you continue to move towards it, no matter what obstacles. You must constantly see who you want to become. You have to see the goal already achieved, you have to experience the goal achieved in your imagination.

7. Think.
“Thinking is hard work, that’s probably the reason there are so few really thinking people.”
Thinking is how you prepare, it’s hard work, it’s where you figure out little nuances and “prepare” your plans. Ford said, “First of all, preparation is the secret of success.” Are you ready for success? Do you think? Thinking is hard work, but the one who has to do it has to prepare for success.
